About EmilY
|
I'm Emily and when I grow up I want to be Hercule Poirot or Miss Marple. I can't quite decide.
In the meantime, I'm training for the job by reading cozy mysteries, watching people, and, of course, writing. I am a bit of a nomad, living with my little family (including three cats) somewhere between Europe and my beloved New Zealand. Besides writing, I enjoy reading, knitting/crocheting, all sorts of paper crafts except origami (I can never get it right), long conversations about human nature and cats, photography and country walking. I write cozy mysteries with a sprinkling of (sweet) romance; my stories are set in small, fictional towns, but often in regions that are close to my heart (mostly because I’ve lived there or visited often). I have currently three series out: Paper Crafts Club Mysteries, Career Crisis Cafe Mysteries, and Seaside Bookshop Mysteries. Check out the series pages for more information. And don’t forget to subscribe to my newsletter to receive updates about my new releases, suggestions of cozy mysteries to read, and tidbits from my writing, crocheting and cat-serving life. |
